...You don't have to choose bridesmaids or groomsmen. ...You don't have to worry about centerpieces or food. ...You can have family and friends with you, or not. ...You can wear what you want, say what you want. And still have great photos. (and memories)
You get to spend the entire day together. You can always have a big reception later and actually enjoy the party without the pressure (and stress) of a wedding.
With all the money saved you can go on a fantastic honeymoon or make a down payment on a house, etc....
Will people be upset you eloped? Possibly... But once they see your photos and realize you got married the way you wanted, they will share in your happiness.
